Esomeprazole and Domperidone Capsules –  Ezobyte-DSR capsules are a combination of two medicines: Esomeprazole, and Domperidone. In this combination, the Domperidone is a prokinetic which means it helps to promote movement and reduces the chances of dysmotility. Dysmotility occurs when the  (gastrointestinal) GI tract is unable to push food through the digestive system properly. 

Therefore, Domperidone works on the upper digestive tract to improve the movement of the stomach and intestines, which will easily allow the food to move through the stomach. 

On the other hand, the second medicine Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn. 

The combination is also used to treat acid reflux, heartburn, or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which stomach acid is forced back into the esophagus (food pipe). To make it work effectively, you must take it exactly as prescribed.
