Pioglitazone 30mg tablets are used to treat type 2 diabetes. Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione-type diabetes drug used along with a proper diet and exercise program to control high blood sugar in patients with type 2 diabetes. It works by helping to restore the body’s proper response to insulin, thereby lowering blood sugar levels. Pioglitazone treatment may be initiated at 15 mg or 30 mg once daily, and the dose may be increased in increments up to 45 mg once daily. Pioglitazone 30mg tablets should be taken orally, with or without food, as directed by the doctor. It is important to take the medication at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of the drug in the body. Pioglitazone 30mg tablets may cause side effects such as weight gain, edema, headache, and muscle pain. You should contact your doctor immediately if you experience any side effects while taking Pioglitazone 30mg tablets.
